Afghan Refugee Solidarity and Association (ARSA) carries out projects related to asylum seekers throughout Turkey.

We are looking for colleagues with the following qualifications to work as translators in ARSA.

Position: Persian Translator

Position Type: Full-time

City: Kayseri

Duration: 9 months - continuation conditions depend on the person's performance.

 

Job Description:

  • Good knowledge of Persian and Turkish (preferably also in English),
  • To have the citizenship of the Republic of Turkey,
  • To be a university graduate from Social Work, Psychology, and Education or similar related fields,
  • To translate written reports/documents when necessary,
  • To make conclusive (consecutive) translations in meetings when necessary,
  • The candidate able to work with Office Programs,

 

 

General Qualifications:

  • Having strong communication skills and able to work with people from different cultures,
  • Able to adapt to the principles of the association and corporate culture
  • Volunteer or professional experience in community-based work and Protection/Child Protection,
  • Having experience working with vulnerable groups,
  • To have knowledge about foreigners and international protection law,
  • Have the experience working with Refugees,
  • Have the knowledge of English,
  • Candidates residing or willing to reside in Kayseri,
